Welcome,
Thank you for visiting our website! We are excited about the many successes that will be happening at Bluffton School this school year. The success of the educational programs provided at Bluffton School is based on the commitment of our staff and parents working together to make a difference in the lives of our students. We take pride in every aspect of our school and insist that our students strive for academic excellence. Bluffton School is a place where each individual is important! Thank you for your interest in our school, where we have your child’s educational future at the heart of what we do. Together, we can work together to help each child strive for their highest potential. Bluffton School is part of Wolf Creek Public Schools which consists of approximately 7500 students in 32 school locations throughout the division.
Our School Mission Statement
“Together we are committed to providing an environment within our community to enable individuals to reach their highest potential.”
Bluffton School is a small rural school located 8 minutes north of Rimbey serving students from Kindergarten to Grade 9. We offer a strong program in all academic subjects in junior high and elementary and a wide range of complementary courses in technology, music, art, drama, outdoor education, and Career and Technology Studies.
Students learn in a setting that focuses on differentiated instruction, where specific needs of all students are the focus. Fine arts, physical education, and technology all receive strong emphasis in addition to the core academic programs.
Bluffton School is complemented by a supportive School Council and parent community which is evident by the many volunteers that help at our school.
At Bluffton School, we believe that by providing a positive and supportive learning environment, our students can achieve academic, personal, and social growth. We invite you to visit our school in person to find out the great things that we have to offer!
In 2007 Bluffton School celebrated 100 years of learning in the community with commemorative T-shirts. These shirts were handed out at the beginning of the school year. Many students ordered the shirts free of charge at the end of the last school year where many other activities kicked off the celebration. Students and staff wore their shirts and showed their school pride shown in the picture below!
